🪷 The Heart Behind Sharon’s Lotus
Sharon’s Lotus Cancer Foundation was born from a bond deeper than blood—a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering strength.
Founder LaQuinta Jones drew inspiration from her beloved aunt, Sharon McGhee, a fierce and faithful warrior who fought breast cancer with grace and grit until her passing in 2012. Though her aunt’s physical journey ended, her spirit endured—becoming a guiding light that would later carry LaQuinta through her own battle.
In 2022, LaQuinta faced a life-altering diagnosis: Stage 4 Triple-Negative Breast Cancer. In the midst of pain, fear, and uncertainty, she leaned into the memory of her aunt’s courage. That same fire fueled her fight—and forged her purpose.
